Dear Colleagues,

The REGISTRATIONS at the IIM Meeting 2015 are now open

To participate in the IIM Meeting 2015, you must register; to do so, please access this page: https://www.coram-iim.it/ and click the button: PARTECIPA ALL'EVENTO (JOIN THE EVENT).

The meeting will be held from October 1 to 4, at Hotel Matilde di Canossa San Bartolomeo- Reggio Emilia.
The IIM meeting is an open platform for researchers, industries, and academicians from Italy and all over Europe to communicate their latest research results and development activities in the field of MYOLOGY.

The following plenary sessions are scheduled:

Genetic and epigenetic alterations in muscle dystrophies and myopathies
Satellite cells and muscle regeneration in healthy muscle and in dystrophies/myopathies
Biophysics and E-C coupling in the physiopathology of neuromuscular diseases
Signalling in muscle homeostasis and diseases
Metabolic alterations and muscle diseases
Muscle wasting and cachexia
Therapeutic approaches for muscle diseases

Speakers include:

Michele De Luca (Centre for Regenerative Medicine and University of Modena-Reggio Emilia)
Rossella Tupler (University of Modena-Reggio Emilia)
Paolo Bonaldo (University of Padua)
Pura Munoz-Canoves (UPF, Barcelona, Spain)
Laurent Shaeffer (University of Lyon, France)
Roger Cooke

The remaining talks will be given by Ph.D. students and postdocs, selected from submitted abstracts.

Two IIM Prizes for Oral Communications will be awarded for the best oral communications presented by Ph.D. students and post-docs under 35

The official language of the meeting is English.
The deadline for registration and abstract submission is July 18.
With the combination of outstanding science and the fascinating country site of Hotel Matilde di Canossa and culinary traditions of Emilia Romagna, we look forward to welcoming you to our IIM meeting in October.
